Hi there, it is indeed possible to acheive what you are trying to do if you
have the right stuff. In my present office I can't get it happening at all.
Its not as simple to get a splitter either as they don't seem to work on
certain systems as in we use Sisco in work and I can't do it with that system
but when I worked in Dublin in another office I used a Meridian intergrated
with other add ons and the headsets came from cable and wireless and yes we did
have splitters to be able to have everything coming through the same ear but I
can't do it at the moment. Good look trying though and kep us posted.
Cheers, Nicky.

Subject: [vip_students] Using phone and PC together
Hi everyone,
Looking for ideas here.
In work I'm in an open plan office. I'm using JAWS with head phones. I
would like to be able to use the phone and the PC at the same time though.
Mainly for making calls about JAWS queries, etc. I would like to be able to
try it out on the PC as I'm talking to somebody about it on the phone.
I checked with I.T. in work about putting one end of a splitter into the
phone but I was told a different connection is required for plugging head sets
into phones.
Does anyone have any ideas or have you come up with an idea for this yourself?
Regards
Roslyn
