Hi Roslyn, what sort of phone system are you using? I think that giving cable and wireless a call may get results but it is not an easy problem to overcome. Keep us updated though.
Cheers, Nicky.----- Original Message ----- From: "Roslyn Allman" <roslynallman@xxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi Flor, Tony and Nikki, Thanks for your suggestions.I did check in work about the connection for the phone. They said it is not a standard phone connection. I'll keep at it though.Regards Roslyn----- Original Message ----- From: "Tony Sweeney" <tonysweeney1@xxxxxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 6:02 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: Using phone and PC togetherGood thinking Flor!Another thought just struck me before I hit the kitchen with a vengeance is that should it be an ordinary phone or extension then that should work outbut if it is a switchboard then there could be compatibility problems and all that!Should it be a switchboard you refer then perhaps some sort of list such asPC Audio may be better placed to assist further. Good luck! Search for: "computer and telephone headset" and, below a lot of sponsored results, you'll get other search results of relevance to your query. My other thought was, something along the lines of Skype or a Skypehandset;but I suppose the IT and security people might be anxious about reroutingcalls to be on a Skype device, etc. Anyway, those are a few ideas.----- Original Message ----- From: "Roslyn Allman" <roslynallman@xxxxxxxxxxx>To: <vip_students@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 18, 2009 3:42 PM Subject: [vip_students] Re: Using phone and PC together Hi Maureen, Eleanor and Frank,Thanks for your mails regarding my query.
