Hi Flor, Tony and Nikki,

Thanks for your suggestions.

I did check in work about the connection for the phone. They said it is not a standard phone connection. I'll keep at it though.

Regards
Roslyn

Good thinking Flor!

Another thought just struck me before I hit the kitchen with a vengeance is
that should it be an ordinary phone or extension then that should work out
but if it is a switchboard then there could be compatibility problems and
all that!

Should it be a switchboard you refer then perhaps some sort of list such as
PC Audio may be better placed to assist further.

Good luck!

Tony

Hi roslyn,

Google, as usual, provides some pages on examples of the sort of headset
you're looking for. Search for: "computer and telephone headset" and,
below a lot of sponsored results, you'll get other search results of
relevance to your query.

My other thought was, something along the lines of Skype or a Skype
handset;
but I suppose the IT and security people might be anxious about rerouting
calls to be on a Skype device, etc. Anyway, those are a few ideas.

Hi Maureen, Eleanor and Frank,

Thanks for your mails regarding my query. Sorry Frank, the only thing is
I
don't ffeel that comfortable putting someone on loud speaker in an open
plan
office.

Roslyn
