Another thought just struck me before I hit the kitchen with a vengeance is that should it be an ordinary phone or extension then that should work out but if it is a switchboard then there could be compatibility problems and all that! Should it be a switchboard you refer then perhaps some sort of list such as PC Audio may be better placed to assist further. Good luck!
