Sorry Elenor, There has never been a tutorial for the Aer Lingus web site. This is the second time Paul has done a tutorial on Ryan Air..There were two web tutorials some time ago - one on Ryan Air and the other shopping on line.

In the past he certainly did Aer Lingus. Certainly I would not fly with RyanAir but as far as the tutorial goes I would certainly use the tutorial to improve my IT Kills.

Hi All, I hope this will help some in booking their flights on the Ryan Air web site. I have tried to include Supernova users this time by inserting some keystrokes but generally the navigation of the site is mostly universal to all screen readers. This is not a perfect site to work with so again I say have patience and "practice, practice, practice" Paul. Notes for Using Ryan Air Web Booking Form Page 1: Entering flight from and too locations. Entering the dates of flights required: On this first page we will fill in the following details. Notes to remember: - A combo box is a list of something, for example, it could be list of countries, or a list of dates etc. To open up a combo box, use left alt key held down and at the same time press the down arrow once. To then continue moving through the list of items in the combo box just use the down arrow. - A checkbox usually just gives an answer to a question posed on the form or web site and hitting it with a spacebar will check it, "activate it" - An edit box is just a box you type in something too such as your first name, last name Additional Notes. Some useful keystrokes: *. Jaws, jaws key + F7 for a list of links. *. Dolphin Supernova Suite, Caps lock + 1 for a list of links. *. Jaws, jaws key + F5 for a list of form elements. *. Dolphin Supernova Suite, Caps lock + number 6 above the letters for form elements *. Jaws, jaws key + F6 for a list of headings on a web page. *. Dolphin Supernova Suite, Caps lock + number 6 above the letters for list of headings. (Begin entering booking details on page 1) First set of details require you to input the day you wish to fly out, and the month Combo box 1: enter the day you wish to fly out. Combo box 2: Enter the month you wish to fly out. Enter details of return flights: Combo box 1: The day you wish to fly home. Combo box 2: The month you wish to fly home. Entering passenger numbers: This section asks you to provide number of passengers including, adults, children under 16 and infants less than 2 years of age. Combo box 1: Enter number of "Adults". Combo box 2: Enter number of children under "16". Combo box 3: Enter number of infants under "2". Ryan Air License Agreement: Checkbox unchecked: Press spacebar to check this box before continuing. Final Button on this page: Book cheap flight button. Note: if you press the letter "B" on your keyboard, you will be dropped onto this button where you then press the spacebar. Web Page 2: Selecting a suitable flight. This page will contain all the available flights which may suit you for your trip. Important: When you go to the results page, on or as close to the dates you have expressed interest in will have their "Radio buttons" already checked in order to make the selecting process as easy as possible for you. You can reach a radio button by Pressing the letter "R" any time on your keyboard while in the results list. Once you have reached a radio button which has been checked, your screen reader will notify you of this fact. The information that pertains to that particular radio button is just above it so up arrowing will allow you to obtain details of the flight that has been selected for you by the web site. Information such as - Flight number, - Departure times, - Dates, - Times. All will be shown to you here including fare cost, taxes etc. If you are satisfied with your selection, press the letter "B" which will drop you on the button labelled, *. Select and Continue button.
