Thank you Loretta,
I do my horses on line, and it drives me mad sometimes trying to get to a
particular place, I heard of that mark but I thought it only worked in the
newer versions of JAWS. Of course the other side of it is I might lose more
money now!!

  Subject: [vip_students] Tutorial: Place Markers!

  Hi All,

As we all visit certain sites on the Internet on a regular basis, I find that
creating a Place Marker is a very handy tip to have. The purpose of the place
marker is to place your cursor at the required position on the page that you
will be frequently visiting.

To Create a Place Marker just do the following:

  1. When on the Internet site you frequently visit, position your cursor at
the beginning of the line you wish to jump to in the future.

  2. Do Control Shift and K.

  3. Tab to Add.

  4. You will hear it read the text of the line you are positioned at as the
Place Marker name.

  5. Take this as the Place Marker name and then tab to OK.

  6. Now when you visit this site again all you have to do is Control Shift
and K and it will list your Place Marker and just enter on it and you will land
directly at the required position.

Note: It may say not selected so just press spacebar to select and then
press the enter key. Also it is possible to have more than one Place Marker so
create as many as you like.

  Have fun,

  Loretta.
