[vip_students] Re: Synchronising Jaws with visual

Evening Paul (you "old" trojan(,

For this thread it is emails.

Apparently where I am sometimes in OE Jaws is chattering to me but the sighted person doesn't always see all of that!

Perhaps too I will do a 'maximise'.

Wonder if any of those controls you wrote recently of would work too.

I use Jaws 12.

Thanks for this.

Tony

Hi Tony,

Are you talking about on the internet or where?.
The complexity of the screen reader working on the computer gives rise to
varying amounts of visual inaccuracies so no matter what you do there will
never be the same consistency between screen reader and what the sighted
person sees. I am not sure what differences the sighted individual is
getting for as far as I know jaws doesn't have a specific indicator that
informs sighted people of his where-abouts on the screen. Voice Over in
apple has a black block cursor which allows sighted persons to follow his
where-abouts.

Paul.

Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] Synchronising Jaws with visual

Hi Paul & All,

Paul and others who might assist.

Have a problem that when a sighted person looks at my screenJaws is not in
sync with the visual on the screen.

Now how can I get that to be compatible?

The screen viewing and Jaws to be together if you like.

It would be very helpful for a response so to know if a sighted person is
assisting/just looking that they see clearly.

Any assist gratefully appreciated.

Best, Tony Sweeney
