Hi Noreen,
Check out the instructions below, are these the ones you have?. If not then
use them and see how it goes for you.
Note: Pay particular attention to step 6 and also set your "subscript" to
ignore while you are at it.
1. While in Microsoft Word, open up the jaws configuration manager.
(Keys, Insert + number 6"
2. Open up the set options menu and arrow down to "speech and sounds
settings" then press the enter key.
3. You will be in a list of items with the first item in the list being
"classic". Tab over to the "edit scheme button" and press spacebar.
4. Now you will be in a group of tab pages, Here use keys "control + tab" to
jump to the "attributes page".
6. You will be in a short list of 4 items, just arrow down to the
"superscript item in this list then tab again and you will be in a group of
5 radio buttons.
7. Arrow down to the "ignore" option and tab to the "ok button".
8. Now tab key to the "save scheme button" and hit spacebar.
9. Tab again to the "ok button" and hit spacebar.
11. Now you must finally save the configuration file by using keys "control
+ letter S" and finally close the configuration manager by using "alt + F4".
You're done.
