I came across this and thought it might be useful to some.
If you are working in any program and suddenly remember you have to send an
e-mail you can do it without going into your e-mail program.

1. go to desk top, with windows key M

2. you will land on something like my computer,

3. deselect it by pressing control plus spacebar

4. press application key and uparrow to new submenu.

5. right arrow and then down arrow to short cut. and enter.

now type mailto: and then your e-mail address, do it without any spaces.

7. hit enter and wait for a prompt to give it a name and then enter.

8. now go back to the desktop and press the first letter of whatever name
you gave it till you land on it.

9. press your application key and up arrow to properties and enter.
tab to shortcut key and press whatever key you can easily remember. be
careful not to use a key that is in use already.

10. press enter and it's done.

Now say that you are in word, all you have to do is press ctrl alt and the
key you have chosen and the TO box of outlook express will come up.
now this is very important press the backspace once because for some reason
the first or last letter of your name is in the box. after that just put in
the address you want to send the e-mail to and write your letter in the
usual way. and when your finished press alt S and your letter is gone and
you are thrown back into the place you were working in.
Sorry if this is longwinded, but give me a ring and I'll talk you through
it, I'm here most days.

6. All the best,

Mike
