Yes, Eleanor it's probably a good idea at this stage to contact your MSP.

Know that may seem a fob off but really why not do that.

Think that mobile broadband is fine and dispute with another list that Skype is not great!

Must try Skype again, but as I say don't really use it.

You see depending where you are is important too even in your home!

Best too that someone with a fixed line try Skype you as there connection should be (hopefully) fine.

Cheers, Tony

Well I have now tried Skyype on a much more up-to-date lap top and still no joy so it has to be the mobile broadband!

I have Skype on my phone however so Tony or anyone if you want to give it a try why not let me know. My skype name is eleanor.neela if you want to look me up.

Eleanor

Interestingly enough mobile broadband is great for me doing most (if not all) I need to do on the net but unfortunately it's not great (for me) with skype, iffy!

I know I had a little trouble accessing the net downstairs here at home but when I "moved" upstairs thingds dramatically improved; haven't tried Skype up here as yet though, never used it much
though.

I have pay as you go Vodafone mobile broadband and have tried Skype on a desk top and net book. I got a message that the computer is too slow to make a call. This message on both machines. I am wondering if it has anything to do with the mobile broadband as I have no difficulty accessing the Internet and downloading even large files on both machines. Anyone successfully using Skype with mobile broadband?
