I tried this and no luck. When I listen to it again it is more like a click
sound than a beep.

Sounds like it could be a pop up blocker Niall. Try keeping Control
pressed when you click on a link and see what happens.

Hi all
When I try and open certain links on some websites all I hear is a
beep and the link will not open. I have tried the same links on my
work computer and
they open fine. Any ideas what my problem might be?

Regards

Niall Fitzpatrick
