Eleanor,
Open it with Kurzweil 1000. If that's not possible (if you are using an
earlier version), then open it in Adobe and print it. In the print
dialogue choose KESI Virtual Printer, and enter of course. Kurzweil 1000
will then process and recognize the image file, and you will hear it
progressing. when it is done it will start to read it. then save it as
.doc .. You will find the formats in the save-as dialogue by tabbing in
the dialogue.

Subject: [vip_students] Pdf Image File Using K1000
Hi All
I have a 10 page pdf image file and want K100 to translate it. It is all
text. Then I want to save it in Word but I cannot for the life of me work
out with K1000 as to how I go about doing this. I looked in Scan but that
is requiring my scanner. This is a document on my computer.
