Moving Files To Outlooks Junk Mail Folder. Outlook has the ability to move a lot of the spam junk email we encounter in our emails nowadays. I thought it would be handy to write up something about this and how to move those junk emails that come in that the normal outlook junk removal tool misses. What this technique does is that every time you move a junk email into your junk folder using the outlook junk removal tool you add the following components into a little data base which in future will monitor this address and domain name contained within the spam email. For example, if I receive an email such as the following; joebloggs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Both the name "Joebloggs and the domain name, "@betterbuys.com" will be moved into the junk folder and outlook will monitor for both these names in future. If it encounters such an address in the future then it will automatically remove it from your inbox. Have no worries that you might lose mails because of this because you can always go into the junk mail folder from time to time and browse through it for to check for any mails that might not have been junk. Step 1 While in your Inbox, Place cursor on closed e-mail Step 2 Press your application key (third key to right of spacebar) A Context Menu will appear listing the following: Open Print Reply Reply to All Forward Follow Up Mark as Read Categories... Find All Create Rule... * Junk E-mail submenu Delete Move to Folder... Options... Step 3 Select Junk E-Mail Submenu, which has been marked above with a star. Step 4 Right arrow here to open the Submenu and then down arrow to get the following list: * Add Sender to Blocked Senders List Add Sender to Safe Senders List Add Sender's Domain (@example.com) to Safe Senders List Add Recipient to Safe Recipients List Mark as Not Junk... Junk E-mail Options... Step 5 Select Add Senders to Blocked Senders List Step 6 Press the Enter key on this Step 7 You will get the following message: Microsoft Office Outlook The sender of the selected message has been added to your Blocked Senders List, and the message has been moved to the Junk E-mail folder. OK Step 8 Just Enter now on the Ok Button Note: It is necessary to go into your Junk e-mail folder from time to time and delete the items in there. Extra note: should you go into the junk email folder and find that a friends email or some important email that you don't class as junk is in there then following the steps outlined above but instead of choosing "add sender to blocked email" choose "add sender to safe senders email". This action will prevent outlook from adding those emails into the junk mail folder in future and instead let them come into the main Inbox.
