Hi Eleanor i have just changed the setting that you suggested it is now
working the way i want. The phone is only about 2 months old. I have not
updated any software but as it is now working the way i want i am happy.

Have you changed the cursor mode to read character by character? To do this
press Talks followed by long press of the number 2 key on the keypad. This
is a 3 way toggle, the other 2 being words and origional. The other thing is
do you have the latest release of Talks running? It was released in August
2011. Have you updated the firmware. The latest release of that is July 2011
and is version 7 something!

I recently purchased the nokia c5 with talks installed. It is a very good
phone but the problem i have is that when i am in a message i can't read the
message letter by letter. When i try to arrow across the message it goes to
the next or previous message. Is there a setting to fix the problem. Thanks
