Hi Petrina and Eleanor No I think its definitely lost and I hadn't named it. You see I went into the slide master and when I was finished nosing around in there I closed what I thought was the the slide master but it was in fact the whole document and it never even asked me did I want to save it. (boohoo). I guess I'll just start again. Thanks for your help and advice. I think I'll go have some pizza. However, if you even saved it once maybe it is somewhere. I'm not good at telling people how to use the keyboard but from Start cursor up to search and press enter. In the edit box put in the name of your document and then tab around until you hear search and press enter. See what happens, maybe it will show up. The search will look through all documents on your computer with tht name and if it finds it, it will tell you the path name and where it is. Give it a go in any case. I was real proud of myself creating my presentation and guess what, I lost it. Yes I hear you all scream, I didn't save as I was going along. Is there any way it can be retrieved. I am nearly crying here as I had created about ten slides. Oh I'm so stup'd.
