Are you talking about clearing your search history?
Or maybe the list of websites on the address dropdown menu?
Think this thread is speaking about removing the favourites toolbar from
showing on IE

Now just to add:

when I'm on the google page when I do as I said I see in toolbars: menu
bar, links, google toolbar, lock the toolbar.

I still have my past searches I'm afraid!

Don't still see the favourites!

Tony

        Hi Eleanor,

Go into the view menu. Next go into toolbars and uncheck the
favorites by
clicking on it or pressing enter key.

        Paul.

When I open internet Explorer there seems to be some kind of bar
at the top
where all sites I have visited seem to be listed, it is somewhat
like hving
Favourites read out at the top of the screen. I find this
tedious and
irritating. How can I remove it please?
