Hello Aedan, how about creating a new play list and calling it "classical" and then copying the files in to the folder.

Hi Paul and Bert, I got that to work on a different file. It is as though the first book is locked in some way, as no change of the info was being saved against it. Now I have a different problem. A piece of music in three movements, ie three separate mp3 files is being imported into Itunes library as twoalbums, one with the first two mp3s and the other with the third mp3 on itsown. Something in the tags must be causing this. I have tried everything I can think of the get all three in to the one album in Itunes. They are all in the one folder in my music folder.
