Hi all,
Oh boy, third time lucky! Please ignore the last two emails from me!
I should have used tab instead of arrows in the property box.
To make it easier to adjust volume I have set the following keys to bring up
the volume control - ctrl + alt + l.
To do so:
go to start menu.
Select programs
Select accessories
Select entertainment
Arrow down to volume control
Press applications key
Up-arrow to properties and press enter.
In here tab down to shortcut key
Enter the letter l here
Keep tabbing down to apply and press enter
Now tab up to ok and press enter.
If you tab down to ok you may for some reason lose the setting of the
shortcut key.
Your done.
Now when you press ctrl + alt + l the volume control will pop up no matter
what program you are in.
Tab down to the jaws section in here and adjust volume with up and down
arrow
Exit using alt + f4.
Regards
Aedan.

Subject: [vip_students] How to create a volume control shortcut!
Hi,
Just some instructions which I posted quite some time ago on crating a handy
volume control shortcut on your desktop.
1. Open the start menu.
2. Go into the programs menu.
3. Go into the accessories sub menu.
4. Arrow down to "entertainment" and right arrow in there.
5. Arrow down to Volume control.
6. Now press your application key which is third key from right of spacebar.
7. Arrow down to "copy" and press enter.
8. Now go back to your desktop, using keys, "windows key + letter M".
9. Press keys "control + V" to paste the new volume control shortcut on your
desktop.
10. Now to open the volume control just press enter key on it.
11. Tab key once to the volume up down slider and using your arrow keys or
page up or down keys, just move the slider up to make the sound higher or
down to make it lower.
Paul.
