Another possibility is that you are being asked to fill in a CAPTCHA in order to complete the request. Check for that and complete. the way to avoid getting any more CAPTCHA requests is to give Facebook your mobile number, whereupon they send you a text message which you copy or type exactly in the appropriate edit field and then submit it.
