Hi Eleanor
No when I get that message about interrupted service I am usually connected.
It does not seem to be related to the problem that I am having with my
broadband key but it's a coincidence that I seem to be getting it for as
long as I've been having the broadband key problem.
Edel..

Edel not Paul lOL!, JUST STILL UP HERE IN lONDON!!! tHAT MESSAGE YOU ARE
RECEIVING DOES NOT RELATE TO YOU HAVING TO PUT IN YOUR WI-FI KEY. iT IS A
VERY IRRITATING MESSAGE INDEED. It is a case of having to either press
that tab or the other one which says to go to home page. Hope this helps.
If you still have trouble with your key then I think you would go in to
the wireless connection, if you have one and check it out there.

Hi Paul
I'm not aware of anything I am doing but sometimes when I go into
internet
explorer I get a message to say my last internet session was interrupted
and
do I wish to resume or go to home page.
There is no 'save' tick box that I can find but I'm looking in wireless
networks / properties. Am I looking in the right place. That's where I
enter the key but the only tick box says 'the key is provided for me
automatically' maybe I should tick that box?

Hi Edel,
When you insert your key is there also an option "checkbox" prompting
you
to save the key so you don't have to insert it again in the future.
Also,
when you are finished with your broadband are you doing anything in
particular when closing out of your internet etc which may be causing
the
key to become lost to its settings..
Paul.

Subject: [vip_students] broadband key?
Hi all
In the past month I am having to reset my broadband key about two or
three
times a week.
I am a little frustrated with eircom as it always happens when their
broadband support help desk is closed i.e. after 10pm.
I am aware that eircom did an upgrade on my line recently but they told
me
that this would 'improve' my service.
I'm wondering is it a problem with my pc as opposed to eircom in that
it is
forgetting my settings?
Regards and thanks in anticipation for any advice
Edel..
