Hi Eleanor and Irene,
Yes, you can send yourself an email from your address to your address. I am
not sure why you aren't getting your emails Irene, are you sure you are
sending them to the correct email address,?.
I would doubt that if you are receiving emails such as this one I am sending
you now and you receive it that you are sending to the correct email
address.

You cannot send yourself a test e-mail because it would be coming from you
to yhou. Now maybe I am wrong and will then stand corrected. Your e-mail
certainly reached the list as I am responding to it. Now if yhou have more
than one e-mail address, you could try sending from one of your e-mail
addresses to another one. I have 2 e-mail addresses
eleanorburke1@xxxxxxxxxx and eleanorburke@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx so I can send tests
between these e-mail addresses. What exactly is your problem and maybe we
can help out in that way? Like I say your e-mail to the list arrived OK.
You could always send a Test e-mail to the list either and say something
like Test Please Ignore and if it comes to you then you know things are
working. Sorry if I am being repetative here.

Hi,
I wonder if one of you can help with this query please.
I sent myself a couple of test E-mails in Outlook Express and didn't receive
them back. Then I got rid of a load of rubbish from the beginning of an
item sent by a friend, copied the body of the item to the clipboard and then
sent it to myself so I could forward it on to friends. Again it has not
come back to me.
I hope I have explained this okay but if not I will try again if it sounds
double Dutch!
