[vip_students] Re: Demonstration of the Intel Reader!

A Paul!

I expect that they do certainly!

Yes I for one love this list even having getting reprimanded at times when I
go astray like any great student can do from time to time!!!

Slightly off topic now but I know when I did radio and "tapes for the blind" I
got little response but what I got was great indeed; fondly remembered!

Must say that in my opinion most blind and VIP's folk are really shy about "the
media" but that doesn't mean of course that they are not happy about it and all
that!

In fact I've met folk who I didn't know commenting on things on your lists say
for your contributions and indeed mine: and some remember fondly even my
contribution to "the blind media"!

I remember all that fondly but I'm not out of it but Just taking a break!

Married life and all that!!!

While I'm on and have your attenttion is it possible for you in your own time
to creat a site where one could access all those tutorials and ones you will
hopefully create in the future?

Winding downfor the hols now with Deirdre and myself for foreign hott hott
climes going the weekend!

Keep on truckin!

Thank you!

Tony Sweeney

  Hi Tony,

Thank you for giving it a go and telling me what you think. Sometimes I feel
that I am wasting my time putting up these presentations as no one seems
interested in commenting onthem. Does this mean that they don't listen to
  them?, I wonder.

  Paul.

  Hi Paul,

It most likely was my internet connection at the time but I found that
  youtube recording patchy indeed!

Anyone want to Google then you can read up on it there too!

Wonder if anyone on the list has actually tried the device and if so would
be great to hear your feeddback!

It certainly sounds like the type of scanner that would interest me!

  Thanks,

  Tony

  Hi All,

Here is a good Youtube presentation of the Intel Reader and its
accessibility features. Take a good listen to it and see what you
  think.
