You're playing a blinder Eleanor! lol!

You understood that very well as I was a little concerned that I wasn't explaining the problem sufficiently well without boring folk!

My sighted friend[s] doesn't have a problem with Jaws talking but I do keep the volume as low as is feasibly possible.

Thank you,

Tony Sweeney

Tony will 'kill' me for butting in here Flor, but I think I know what Tony is getting at! I use Supernova and unless I turn off the auto virtual focus a sighted person is not able to use it as they do not know about forms Mode and having to get in to Edit boxes. I have ended up in the past with the person saying to me that they cannot use it and in the earlier stages I used to exit Supernova but as Tony says it is nice to know or hear what is going on, I like that too, though it drives some sighted people mad listening to the voice but it is great for me. Now sorry Tony if I got that wrong and if I am butting in where I should not! Lol! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Flor Lynch" <florlync@xxxxxx>

Tony,

On a Web page? Can't they use the mouse for larger movements there?

Afternoon,

Now say there is a non jaws user using my computer say to assist for example, is there any way to deactivate the jaws keys in order as to not restrict the person in navigating the web for example?

In other words, I'd still want to hear jaws speaking but the other person wouldn't be impeded by active jaws keys.

Trust that that all makes sens to you!

Best,

Tony
