Hi Vincent,
It's a handy one but you won't know if you have received a new text message
unless you unlock your phone or hear the alert tone, so you would have to be
aware of this.

that turns talks off completely. try it this way. if you go to your talks
settings by pressing talks key and the star key under the number 7 it brings
you to these settings then arrow across once and you should here advance
tab then arrow down until you hear mute on key lock press the select key to
change this. hope this helps. as far as saying its a good phone i really
dont think so.
