Hi Paul
Just seeing your post to Tony and I am reminded, isn't or wasn't it you
who said you could send me instructions for recording on the BBC iPlayer?

Hi Tony in my case when i do a scan which can take three or four hours
all i
hear is a tone to say the scan is finished it has never said whether i
have
a virus or not. I do not know how to find out. When i had a v g it always
told me one way or the other

Hi Paul,

The point really I was making is that is Avast not telling anything at
all
when the scan is completed?

My laptop with Avast unfortunately isn't available to me at present so I
can't check to remind myself what happened after I scanned with Avast.

No it is just a reconfiguring job with my laptop thankfully!

The question I'm asking is this!

Does Avast tell you anything at all when the scan has been completed?

Hi tony i know what frank means i was wondering the same. As long as i
have
been using avast i have never been told i have a virus but when i had a
v
g
it would tell me every now and then i had a virus. I had another virus
package for a while which told me on a regular basis i had a virus but
it
became buy only. you couldn't get a free version of it.
