Hi folks,
I had been thinking of buying the Olympus DS50 digital recorder. However,
following Tony's email to the list yesterday, I did something very, very
rash! I rang Back FromThe Future, and bought the Iaudio x5 instead!
colin said he had received a few calls from VICS members. the one thing
I forgot to ask was about after sales service, given that the model
is now discontinued.
I haven't yet listened to the podcast.
I'm wondering, what's the recording quality like, and will the unit accept
an external microphone?
For anyone interested, there is a review of the Iaudio X5L on the Blind
cool tech site.
Note, the model on offer to us is the X5. I don't know what the
differences are between the X5 and X5L.
from the BCT website:
IAudio X5L Review
4/6/2007
Clement Chou discusses this amazing, accessible mp3 player. 28.4 MB
To download the review:
1) Go to www.blindcooltech.com
2) Search for the date, then arrow up to the link to the Iaudio
review.
3) Press enter, and choose save, from the resulting dialogue box.
there may be a more straightforward way of doing this.
Regards,
Eamonn
