Cheers Paul, that worked grand. Anybody know if I can change this? I noticed a 'set as default' option in the styles menu and I seem to have applied the word 2003 style now on all documents, or at least they are reading much better! Thanks, Stuart. -----Original Message----- From: vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tim Culhane Sent: 27 February 2012 08:54 To: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vicsireland] Re: configuring Word 2010 to work best with Jaws 13 Thanks Gerry. Will give that a try. Click alt-H then G and you will be at the "Styles Set" submenu. Hit <Enter> and you can arrow up and down a list of styles. Choose Windows 2003 by hitting <Enter>. I understand that this returns the appearance to what was present in Office 2003 and may work better. This change is only temporary, so will revert to the default style for each new document. I know in Office 2007 you could go back into the "Style Set" submenu after choosing a style and set it to the default, but I can't find a way of doing this in Office 2010. Give it a bash and see if it helps. Take care, Gerry ellis If you don't know where you're going, How will you know when you get there? -----Original Message----- From: vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:vicsireland-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Tim Culhane Sent: 24 February 2012 12:02 To: vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [vicsireland] Re: configuring Word 2010 to work best with Jaws 13 Thanks Donal will try draft view. Unfortunately, switching away from Windows isn't an option in my situation. Turd 2010 and jaws 12 were among the main reasons I stopped using windows. Incidentally, I'm reliably informed by sighted friends and colleagues that the ribbon bar is as awful for them as for us.
