Tony,

You may need to uncheck its start-up when windows starts option (or 
something like) before it will allow you to uninstall properly.

Yes I forgot to say that I googled the product!

Don't wish to be mean you know but don't really want that programme for
sharing as I find it most invasive!

Will uninstall and see how things go!
