Hi Maureen!
Not only have I heard about it but I gathered around a very interested Orcam
group at the Sight and Sound Exhibition in 2016.
Unfortunately, there were too many other pieces of sight enhancing exhibits
on offer, on the day and not enough time for any one device.
The Orcam appears to be quite innovative and apparently can assist with
every day tasks. Of course, anything that can assist us guys, in whatever
way in overcoming our daily challenges has to be welcomed.
I'm sure that some other folk on this list will get back to you with more
details than I have given you here Maureen .
Enjoy your research into the Orcam and fill in the gaps for the rest of us
