Stuart, Infovics magazine could indeed have been a cracker if only you
interviewed people in a quiet room or in the studio. I doubt very much if
people with any bit of a hearing impairment could get the gist of some of
the interviews, because I found it difficult enough. Surely you could
interview people elsewhere? Why not bring them to the studio? There must be
enough money in the Vics kitty to pay a taxi there and back for a proper
talk. You could go to pub or café afterwards. I abhor these informal
interviews because the background noise can be so obtrusive to the content.
Food for thought!
Maureen.

Hi all.

After what probably seems like an eternity, Infovics is back, and what a
cracking magazine we've got!

On this edition, which is now available on the Vics website,
We check in with mark Magennis and Josh O'Connor from the Centre for
Inclusive Technology (CFIT), to see what they've been up to.
Brian Dalton introduces us to the power of Skype.
Tony Murray, Brian Dalton and Tim Culhane reflect over the last three
years of their time with Vics and highlight some of the best moments for
each of them.
We've also got information on the up-coming Vics AGM and a great song
from Divine Comedy.

So, get a drink, open the windows and let some of that lovely sun filter
in and point your browser at http://www.vicsireland.org/infovics/

Regards and enjoy!

Stuart Lawler.
