I am relieved to read that because I thought it might be my problem alone
and due to the fact that I am not a native English speaker. But now that you
say that other people experience difficulties with audio-files from
Googlemail as well I think it is not my problem alone.

I'm late to this thread, but to be honest Google are coming under intense
criticism over the quality of the audio used in such files. This has been
discussed quite a bit on twitter by people from all over the world.

Hi all,
I have been trying, for the past hour, to set up a new Googlemail
account. I have a problem with the audio-file (the security thing that
has to be entered at the end). I don't know how many words I have to
enter--I hear many words when I listen to the audio, some more clear
than others. Does anyone here now how many words need to be entered?
