Dear All, With just one week to go I wanted to remind you about the above workshop, which takes place next Friday evening, at the Training Centre in NCBI's head office, on Whitworth Road. For our first ever Blackberry accessibility event in Ireland, we'll be joined by Greg Fields of Research In Motion (RIM), makers of BlackBerry smartphones. Greg leads the Product Management of BlackBerry Accessibility, and will be available to discuss RIM’s accessibility activities and demonstrate the newly launched BlackBerry Screen Reader (www.blackberry.com/screenreader). BlackBerry® Screen Reader is a free software application for the BlackBerry Curve 9320/9350/9360/9370 smartphones, supports core software applications on BlackBerry smartphones, and includes speech and shortcut settings like those you might expect to see from a screen reader. We will have 3-4 demonstration handsets available at the event for you to come and try the BlackBerry Screen Reader for yourself, and Greg will be available for questions and discussions as well. If you require further information please feel free to contact me on 087 9926360, or at this email address. Kind regards, and hope to see you next Friday! Stuart. Stuart Lawler.
