This is interesting as, I have come across this problem with Microsoft Word 
2007 on a windows 7 machine using Jaws 13.
When you press the backspace key, does it delete the text even though Jaws
says blank?

Hi All,

Lately I've noticed when I back space in Word all JAWS says is blank even
though there is text there and if I press the arrow keys JAWS reads the
text.

Using Windows XP and JAWS 8.

Any ideas?
