Hi Tim, Should this be anything to go on, I needed to print out an attachment and it couldn't be done via my PC! I had to forward the doc to a colleague who could print it then! By the way I am correctly connected to a printer! One of the docs is possibly a scanned image as it is a map of the Phoenix park re road closures!! Jaws tells me of the document name with .pdf but that is all! Thanks. Thanks, Tony. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Culhane" <tim.culhane@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <vicsireland@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, May 30, 2008 8:39 AM Subject: [vicsireland] Re: Accissible Acrobat Reader Hi Tony, It should work, though not knowing what the pdf file contains makes it difficult. Couple of things to try: 1. Try and see if sighted people can open the pdf document on your pc while jaws is not running. 2. You can send me the document privately if you like and I'll take a look (assuming the document isn't confidential). Now, it doesn't open a PDF! It could be a problem not connectted, but perhaps not! What version of Acrobat should I be using and is there any other software that I should be downloding to make Jaws 8 and Acrobat do what it should be doing? Thanks. Have a great weekend! Tony.
