Hi Nadine,
I have also had this weird thing happen to me from time to time. I prefer
the following because I am more confident I can fix it without sighted
assistance.
1. Hit the windows key for the search box and type in display until it
says display settings. Hit enter.
2. Tab to orientation combo box. If it says flipped, you know it is
screwed up. Up or down arrow to landscape and tab to the apply button and
hit enter.
Hopefully, this fixes it.

Using JAWS 16.0.44, we first tried pressing ctrl, then alt then up arrow.
This did not work.
We then tried pressing alt then ctrl then up arrow. This did not work,
either.
We also went so far as to try these two keys with each of the four arrows
and nothing worked.
We then went to the desktop and clicked on an empty space.
We located graphics properties and graphics options
but did not find a button that said graphics settings.
We also did not locate the normal button within either of these choices.
We did locate the rotation button, entered on that then landed on the zero
button and entered.
This brought the rotation full circle and uprighted the program screens.

Alt-control-up arrow works for me. My screen has gotten flipped at work a
few times, and that sets it back to normal.

Nothing to do with Comcast. Your display adaptor is configured to display at
a 90 degree angle. Have someone click on an empty area of your desktop and
you'll get a pop up menu look for graphics settings which is another submenu
and turn the rotation to normal.

Something weird is going on with my Dell laptop which might have something
to do with Comcast doing some wiring work in my neighborhood.
In any case, all of my programs are displaying on their side instead of
