I think Jackie could be onto something. I would wonder if the dog just isn't feeling well for some reason or if the dog is an older dog, sometimes they are tired and don't want to work any more. I would get the medical checked into and if this is a dog connected with a school, perhaps, a call for training assistance is in order.
