Speaking of technology -Many grocery stores now have some wee electronic
label on the shelves that gives the name of the product, price, unit price,
code #, and a bar code. The employes have a gadget that can change the info
if needed when they are restocking. It seems that it wouldn't be too hard
for some body to devise a similar gadget for reading that will then
translate the info into an audio format, or even into electronic Braille.
Would something like that be helpful? What kinds of problems or drawbacks
would there be?
Jo
