[vi-android] What are some apps available from the play store or elsewhere that people like to use?

And now a non-critical curiosity-motivated question. What are some of your favourite apps? not ones that came installed with your phone perhaps, but stuff you've downloaded...either fun things or things that make your android experience better somehow? haven't downloaded anything at all yet and kind of wondering what's out there that people enjoy using. Seems to be an overwhelming amount of stuff available. That's a good thing!

Yes, Google changed the name of their keyboard from Google Keyboard to GBoard. I mostly use the Soft Braille Keyboard, but when I use a virtual keyboard, I usually use Gboard. I like the PC layout, where I have the numbers across the top. I can't really talk to the differences or explain which is better, but I'd suggest you just install Gboard and give them both a try and settle in on the one you prefer the most.

Excuse me for interrupting, but what's the gboard? the google keyboard?
Do you know how that differs from the Samsung keyboard? Wondering if
it'd be to my advantage to download the google keyboard and install it
instead. Really not enjoying this typing on the phone business (on my
computer right now, thankfully!)

Double tap on the edit field to make sure your editing the field and
then flick up or down to choose the granularity you want to move by.
Now flick left or right to move through your edit field by that
granularity. Note that the volume keys may also move you by character
when you're editing an edit field.

Note that I assume you're talking about Talk Back and you're using a
keyboard like the GBoard.

Hi,

How do I move the cursor in a message to change or add letters?
