I also run my own Asterisk server (asterisk.rednote.net).
The only good results I've had with SIP clients on Android are with
those hardware phones that allow the SIP options available in the
Default Phone app. Many phone manufacturers disable these. But, where
they're not disabled, SIP works in and out as expected in my experience.
I'd expect SIP is available using LineageOS, but I have no direct
experience there yet.

Hello,
Is anyone using sip? Specifically looking for a soft phone application
that is accessible. My goal is to hook a cell phone in to an Asterisk
PBX.
Thanks.
Dave.
