OK, I'll have to miss the bingo since my medical appointment is smack dab
right in the middle of this time period. However, I have put down December 8
as "save the date". Thanks for all the work you do in arranging these fun
events.

You are invited to a bingo party!. Please try to come and eat some very good
food and try your luck at winning some fantastic prizes!
The date is Thursday, November 17. The time is 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM. The place
is Church of the Rock in St. Albans. To reserve your spot, please send a $5
check made out to VCB to Barbara Buchanan, 106 Rose Street #3, Burlington, VT
05401 by Saturday, November 12.
Lunch will include a selection of sandwiches, chips, and small tomatoes, with
something good for dessert! We will have coffee, water and apple cider for
beverages. Jerry Doody has offered to provide music for our listening pleasure.
There will also be a fifty/fifty for those who feel lucky.
Shirley Dolan is a very experienced player of bingo, and she has agreed to run
the games. She and her helpers will provide us with bingo cards and chips, tell
us what game we are playing and call the numbers. There will also be bingo
assistants to help those who need them.
We haven’t had a bingo party for a while, so I am hoping that many of you will
come and have a good time!
Dates to Remember
Don’t forget our monthly movies at the Essex Cinema the first Thursday in
November and December.
Holiday Party: On Thursday, December 8 we are having our first ever holiday
party. Last year we enjoyed Thanksgiving together a little early, and this year
we will have an early Christmas celebration. There will be more details about
this holiday party in November.
