Looks like a boat's GPS or a simple hand carried GPS unit would lead to a
resolution of state, county and such. Even up to 200 miles. We use a hand
carried unit sitting on the dash of our automobile to read the boundaries of
a Christmas count area when we don't know all the roads so well. That way we
have almost no reason to read a map and road numbers all day.
