I had a great horned owl hooting it up one evening last week or so. It was
going "hoot hoo' hoo hoot hoot", which, after I looked it up in a bird book,
found it was a great horned owl.  

 

By the way, this bird looks a lot like a cat, doesn't it? Look at its tufts
and eyes, especially.
