Katie,
Carolina wrens enjoy both sunflower seed and suet. So do
chickadees, titmice, and nuthatches. The white-throated sparrows and
juncos go north to breed, so you probably won't see any until autumn.
Song sparrows are year round in Carroll County where my daughter
lives, but I don't know about your location. Richmond, according to
the maps, is just outside or on the edge of the breeding area.
