Katie,
Carolina wrens enjoy both sunflower seed and suet. So do chickadees, titmice, and nuthatches. The white-throated sparrows and juncos go north to breed, so you probably won't see any until autumn. Song sparrows are year round in Carroll County where my daughter lives, but I don't know about your location. Richmond, according to the maps, is just outside or on the edge of the breeding area.
