Like an earlier poster, I saw few birds at my feeders in October, but a flock of very hungry goldfinches arrived yesterday. They even went for the Niger seed, which my summer goldfinches totally ignore. There were 2 or 3 pine siskins with them. I also had 2 mourning doves, some house finches, a white throated sparrow, and about a dozen juncos.
