15 enthusiastic birders enjoyed a gorgeous day, beautiful birds, good company and a delicious lunch in Mathews county on Saturday. The most abundant birds were scoters (black and surf), common loons and dunlin. The marbled godwits were a nice surprise. Thanks to all who came out. Special thanks to Art for arranging the trip and to Jim for leading us around Mathews.
