[va-richmond-general] bread-fishing bird

*Good, happy Sunday morning to all my pleasant friends,*

*When I get the blues, sometimes, I surf for animal videos to make myself
smile.  Last night, I happened upon a video of an amazing water fowl
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c7fb2b7a98.  Like many birds, it was tossed
some dull and not particularly nutritious bread.  The bird takes a piece of
this bread to the water, carefully arranges it on the surface of the water,
exactly where it wants the bread to be, even moves it a little and uses the
bread to fish.  It's just fabulous to watch.  If the narration gets on your
nerves, turn down the volume.  There are other animals on the video, but you
only have to get past one bright, possibly coached hound before the
bird--who I am sure most of you all will be able to i.d.  Anyway, it is
amazing.  I am certain some of these critters are brighter than many people.
