Have had some interesting birds and bird pairs at my feeder in the last week or so. A hermit thrush made a visit last week. In addition, I've had a red-bellied wp pair, a downy wp pair, bluebird pair, and 6 chipping sparrows. Had a bluebird family visit the feeder last year for a few weeks. Am hoping that will occur again this year. Went to stay at my family farm on the Eastern Shore this week and saw a common loon on the creek along with a few stray buffleheads and the resident herons and egrets.
