[va-richmond-general] Yellow-headed Blackbird- Henrico Co 10/16

Thanks to a call from Mike Boatwright, I was able to get down to Turkey
Island Road in Henrico Co. last evening to look for the Yellow-headed
Blackbird found there earlier by Sue Heath and Fenton Day. I had luck
finding the bird right away and had excellent looks as it fed close to
the road among a group of cowbirds and starlings. The cow pasture that
the bird is in was on the left hand side of the road shortly after
turning onto Turkey Island Rd. from Route 5. The flock was moving
around and unfortunately as I went to the car to get my scope and
camera, the flock moved into the back of the pasture in the tall grass
and I was unable to relocate the bird. Good luck to anyone who tries
for this bird.
