We have been hearing them loud and clear, singing all day long in Meadowbrook
Estates on Falling Creek in northern Chesterfield County. I may be a little
surprising to hear birds like these in a residential neighborhood, but Falling
Creek is a tree-lined corridor for wildlife. We also see as well as hear
Northern Parulas, Black and white Warblers, Black-throated Blue Warblers to
mention a few, as well as a parade of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks - usually about 2
a day, both male and female. Check out the following website to see some nice
shots of those and lots of other visitors, to our yard, and to other local and
distant birding spots.
