[va-richmond-general] Re: Whoa! What was that?

Great Horned Owls are the "Fearless Flying Warriors" of the night skies.
Usually, they will only tangle with and offensively attack a human or other
creature that directly threatens their nests...which is generally high up
off the ground (and then look out...they can knock over a standing adult
human easily).  I confess that I missed the "after dark" comment in the
original post, because John pointed out the most likely
prospect...though....flying squirrels...I hadn't thought about that one!
